October 28, 2021, 1:00 p.m. EDT

Dr. Michael Kightley and Dr. Mary Farmer-Kaiser, University of Louisiana at Lafayette
Best practice for holistic admissions encourages the use of rubrics as we make graduate admission and funding decisions. They promote consistency, transparency, efficiency. The way you outline criteria for evaluation also sets the stage for recruiting and admitting a strong and diverse applicant pool. Winning faculty over to developing and using rubrics can be a challenge, however. Join CSGS/CHBGS for a forum focused on two institutions’ experiences — the sustained work, challenges, and successes — in encouraging the development and use of rubrics by their graduate programs.
You will receive an email with the Zoom link prior to the event.[contact-form-7 404 "Not Found"]
